The Harvest Moon Festival, is one of Korea’s most cherished holidays. People mark the day by paying homage to their ancestors and celebrating with their relatives. One of the main Harvest Moon Festival traditions is the food preparation.
Bongchu Cambodia chose to celebrate this auspicious occasion on September 16th 2016, the 3rd Korea-Japan Joint Cultural Event “Harvest Moon Festival” at Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center (CKCC).
We wanted not only to spend our quality time with the people, but we also want the people in the country to experience a very unique taste of our special dish “Bongchu jjimdak (braised chicken)”. The smell of our dish spreads across the buildings bringing both foreigners and local people to our booth.
After a bite of our chicken, they smiled, showing out our fruitful result. We hope to celebrate such events again in the future.
